Glenn Besnard, former keyboardist of Bumpkin Island, launched his solo project Øllø in 2015. Since then, he has been shaping a singular universe influenced by artists such as Boards of Canada, Mogwai, Sigur Rós, and Rone. His atmospheric and evocative music has led him to compose for theatre, dance, as well as for fiction films and documentaries.
In 2023, he released In Parenthesis, an album with a captivating and ever-shifting identity. With Unreal Landscapes, his new album, Øllø explores a dreamlike ambient electronica, conceived as a sonic canvas where the listener is invited to drift and dream.
